Srinagar, Feb 28: The winter vacations for schools have been extended, and all institutions will now reopen on March 7, official sources said.
A senior official who was part of the meeting headed by Education Minister Sakina Yatoo confirmed to Kashmir Despatch that the decision to extend winter vacations in Kashmir schools has been made, and an official order will be issued shortly.
This decision comes in light of recent snowfall and rains across Jammu and Kashmir, which have significantly affected daily life.
