Baramulla, Dec 03 : Government forces on Monday evening laid a siege to Saloosa village of Baramulla in north Kashmir.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a joint team of Army, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Saloosa village of Baramulla.
Reports said that a joint team of forces conducted door to door search operation in the area.
Official sources told Kashmir Despatch that following specific information about presence of some militants in the area search operation has been launched.
Search operation in the area was on when last reports came in.
