SRINAGAR, Aug 29: In a significant career milestone for its workforce, Jammu and Kashmir Bank has promoted 11 of its Senior Managers (Scale-III) to the position of Chief Manager (Scale-IV) following the successful completion of a departmental examination conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).
According to the order issued by the bank, a total of around 650 officers were eligible to appear under the fast-track channel for elevation to Chief Manager cadre. Out of these, only 11 officers qualified the written examination, highlighting the rigorous nature of the assessment process. All the successful officers have now been elevated to Chief Manager cadre with immediate effect.
The list of promoted officers includes Puja Mahajan, Meenakshi Gupta, Vineet Channa, Sanjeeta Rathore, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, Reyaz Ahmad Mir, Pawan Grover, Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, Jasbir Singh, Abdul Rashid Dar, and Sunil Kumar Khajuria.
Of the 11 promoted officers, four hail from Kashmir division while seven belong to the Jammu region, reflecting a diverse regional representation within the bank’s top management structure.
The elevation is being viewed as an encouraging move for employees who aspire to climb the leadership ladder through merit-based progression. Senior officials of the bank hailed the achievement of the promoted officers and extended their best wishes for their future responsibilities.
