New Delhi: The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) today released its Annual Calendar of Performance for 2025, highlighting major achievements in digital governance, grievance redressal, administrative reforms and international collaborations.
The year witnessed the successful conduct of the 28th National Conference on e-Governance in Visakhapatnam, where the Visakhapatnam Declaration on advancing digital governance toward India @ 2047 was adopted. Over 1,000 delegates participated, and the National Awards for e-Governance 2025 were conferred. DARPG also completed a major revamp of CPGRAMS, operationalizing a new module for senior-level review and updating grievance categorization for 27 Ministries/Departments.
A Sevottam Curriculum, a study titled *From Grievance to Governance*, and a booklet showcasing 100 success stories were released, while national workshops and ATI-led trainings strengthened grievance redressal capacity.
The Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2023 & 2024 were conferred by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on Civil Services Day 2025, an event attended by more than 3 lakh participants. Special Campaign 5.0 for Swachhata and pendency reduction was implemented across 11.60 lakh offices, freeing 233.75 lakh sq. ft. space, reviewing 38.11 lakh files, resolving 7.54 lakh grievances, and generating ₹824.07 crore from scrap. Cumulative gains from Campaigns 1.0–5.0 crossed ₹4,120 crore.
DARPG advanced e-service delivery under the NeSDA Way Forward initiative, with e-services rising by 25% during the year and several States achieving full saturation through unified portals. E-Office 7.0 was rolled out across all Ministries, achieving over 93% e-file adoption, supported by upgraded analytics through Vishleshan 2.0. International engagements included hosting the IIAS-DARPG Conference with delegates from 58 countries, where India secured the IIAS Presidency for 2025–2028 for the first time. The department also hosted national webinars, State Collaborative Initiative consultations, and observed key national days. DARPG received the Rajbhasha Kirti Award (First Prize) for 2024–25.
