In sheer abuse of his official position, with ulterior motives as well as for pecuniary gains made illegal engagement of large number of supporting staff(beneficiaries) under MGNREGA as GRS/Technical Assistant/Bare Foot Engineers/computer Assistant/Data Entry Operator/MIS Operator etc on consolidated basis during the period 2015-18 in District Rajouri without involving selection committee in the engagement process as well as without seeking administrative approval, in utter violation of guidelines issued by the Secretary Rural Development Department, J&K vide circular No. 15-RD-NREGA of 2010 Dtd. 14-12-2010 for making the engagement of supporting staff under MGNREGA, thereby providing illegal as well as undue benefits to the beneficiaries.
On the prima facie establishment of the allegations, a formal case has been registered against Noor Alam, then ACD Rajouri (now Deputy Secretary, ARI &Trainings) in P/S VOJ (now ACB Jammu) and investigations taken up.(CNS)
