SRINAGAR, August 13: Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir Nalin Prabhat conducted a hybrid operational review meeting with all formations of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and senior officers of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), officials said.
The review meeting focused on assessing the prevailing security and operational situation across Jammu and Kashmir and strengthening coordination among various security agencies.
Senior officers representing different formations of the J&K Police participated in the meeting along with senior officers of CAPFs. The hybrid format enabled officers from different formations and locations to join the review simultaneously.
During the meeting, the DGP reviewed the operational preparedness of the security forces and emphasised the need for close coordination, effective intelligence sharing and sustained field-level vigilance.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to assess ongoing security measures and operational requirements in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
DGP Nalin Prabhat stressed the importance of maintaining high operational readiness and ensuring effective coordination among all security formations to meet emerging security challenges.
The participation of senior officers from both J&K Police and CAPFs underlined the importance of joint efforts and coordinated operations in maintaining peace and security across the Union Territory.(KNC)
