Forces launch search operation in Kunzar Village

Sopore, 31 Dec : Government Forces on early Tuesday launched a Cordon and search operation in Kunzar village of north Kashmir’s district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a joint team of army’s 2 RR, Special Operation Group of Police (SOG) and 176 CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Goigam village of Kunzar.

Reports said forces conducted door to door search operation in the area.

A police officer said search operation in the area was launched following inputs about the presence of militants movement.

Pertainally, on Monday a search operation was ended on peaceful note in Sopore village.
