CRPF personnel, Cop & a civilian injured in Srinagar grenade attack

Srinagar : Ahead of Republic Day , suspected militants lobbed a grenade in capital city of Srinagar this evening.

An official told Kashmir Despatch over phone, that suspected militants hurled a grenade at in Noorbagh area resulting in injuries to one CRPF personnel, Policeman and a civilian. He said in the attack two parked vehicles were also damaged.

Meanwhile army, Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF personnel launched searches in the area to nab the assailants.

The injured CRPF identified as (M Hariharan), Police cop identified as Constable Sartaj Ahmed while the identification of civilian was not known immediately.
