Kulgam : Two persons were killed after a speeding commercial vehcile hit a scooty in south Kashmir’s Kulgam on Monday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that two persons were killed, another injured after their scooty was hit by a speeding commercial vehicle bearing registration number JK03B-0769 at Wokey area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam on Monday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Danish Altaf Khandey and Tajamul Ahmed Shiekh both residents of Mahipora Kulgam.
The injured was identified as Furkan Riyaz Lone son of Riyaz Ahmed Lone of Mahipora Kulgam and was rushed to nearby hospital for treatment reports added.
A police officer also confirmed this road mishap to this newspaper and said a case under relevant sections of law has been registered.
