Covid-19: Nearly a dozen people attended deceased’s funeral in Tangmerg

Srinagar, March 29: The 52 year old man who become second victim of COVID-19 was laid to rest at his native village in north Kashmir’s Tangmarg on Sunday.

Official sources told Kashmir Despatch the deceased was laid to rest in Sulanda Village of Tangmarg, his native village with proper Islamic protocol.

Sources said people in ten number participated in the last rites of deceased who became second victim of COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Those who participated in the funeral prayers were wearing a protective gears, who also accompanied the body to the graveyard for burial.

The deceased was admitted in a Srinagar hospital two days ago after he was tested positive.
