40-year-old man dies after poplar tree falls on him in Ganderbal

GANDERBAL:
In a tragic incident A-40-year-old man died on Wednesday when a poplar tree fell on him in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.


Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 40-year-old man identified as Ghulam Ahmad Mir son of Gh Rasool Mir was critically injured after the tree fell on him which he was cutting near his residence at Arampora area of Ganderbal this afternoon.


However, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was referred to SKIMS Soura where doctors declared him bought dead on arrival reports added.


A police officer also confirmed this incident to Kashmir Despatch and said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.
