Sopore: A minor has drowned in a water-filled ditch in north Kashmir’s Sopore village this evening died.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a minor identified as Hanan Rather son of Mohammad Latief Rather of Wagub fell into the water-filled ditch which was constructed for irrigational purposes at their apple orchard.
Reports said the incident took place this evening when 6 year old was playing in his apple orchard, however, suddenly slipped into the ditch and died.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident.
