Man Injured in Air Compressor Blast In Shopian

Shopain, May 13 : A 38-year-old man was seriously injured in an air compressor blast inside his mobile tyre repairing shop near BMO Office in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Wednesday, official sources said.

They said that man identified as Mohammad Altaf Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad of Bungam Shopian suffered serious injuries in his legs and was immediately moved to hospital. In the incident, they said, poor man’s vehicle also suffered substantial damage.

Medical Superintendent District Hospital Shopian told GNS that the man was received at the hospital and was later shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment. (GNS)
