Day 3 : Residents along LoC in Poonch worried as cross-border shelling continues

Poonch, May 20 :The armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire along line of control (LOC) on consecutive third day on Wednesday in Poonch district.

Official sources told Kashmir Despatch, In a fresh attempt Pakistani troopers on Wednesday resorted small to heavy shelling on Indian Army posts along line of control at Kirni and Degwar sectors of Poonch district which was retaliated effectively.

Locals reports sence week we are living in fear and threat due to this continue shelling from both nations, they said despite this holly month of Ramadan both they are living a life or misseris with worst affected with this border shelling.

An army official while confirming to Kashmir Despatch said firing incident reported along line of control (LOC) in Kirni and Qasba sectors however no loss of life or injury was reported in the shelling.

Earleir neighbours of both nations traded gunfire along line of control at Degwar, Balakote, Gulpur sectors in Poonch district.
