Poonch, May 21 : The Farmers of Sub Division Mendhar in Poonch District of Jammu division Thursday complained that they were deprived of Agricultural maize seeds by the Department.
Consumres told Kashmir Despatch that we are binge forced to hold silent protest against the department for not providing seeds at their recognized mentioned counters of Harni Gursai and Gulutha area.
They said we approached the local offices to raise the demand of maize seeds while the department is claiming the shortage of seeds making people suffer for want of the appropriate seeds on commence of the agricultural activities.
Labour unioun Mendhar,Majid Khan Boby while talking to this newspaper appealed to District Development commissioner Poonch to imitate serious action against the officials of Agriculture department for failing to provide seeds so far.
He has urged the administration to make availability of quality seeds at an earliest without any delay.
