COVID-19: Pregnant lady test positive in Bandipora

Srinagar, May 22: A pregnant lady hailing from Shahgund area Hajjin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district tested positive for COVID 19 on Friday.


A health official confirming to Kashmir Despatch said a pregnant lady from Bandipora among 7 people have been tested positive for COVID-19 at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar sofar.


The others including two from Pingleena Pulwama, one each from Malknag Anantnag, Qazigund Kulgam, Drarangan Anantnag and one Kargil resident.
Earlier this Sixteen residents of south Kashmir’s Shopian have been tested positive for COVID-19 at SKIMS Hospital Srinagar.

Pertinently, With this fresh case the total toll of COVID-19 victims in Bandipora district rose to 138.
