COVID-19: Vegetable/Fruit sellers, milkmen to work from 7 am to 9 am in Varmul: DC

Baramulla, May 22: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo on Friday said that a viable mechanism has been formulated wherein traders have been asked to work in shifts so that the risk of eventualities is mitigated in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.


According to Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Dr. Itoo while briefing media regarding special arrangements for Eid ul Fitr said that vegetable/fruit sellers and milkmen shall work in the morning from 7 am to 9 am while as the butchers from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Moreover, bakers and other traders selling vital items shall work from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm”,.

Meanwhile DC Baramulla also warned that strict legal action shall be taken against erring traders, found in any kind of illegal activity like charging exorbitant rates, black marketing etc.
