Mobile internet to be restored tonight in Srinagar District: IGP

Srinagar, May 22: The government has decided to restore 2 G Mobile internet services by evening today in district Srinagar after its suspension three days ago.


Talking to Kashmir Despatch IGP Kashmir Vinay Kumar said that the mobile internet services in district Srinagar were suspended in view of the law and order situation and the same will be restored by late evening today.


Mr. Kumar said the internet suspension was necessitated because of the rumors and other anti-national activities being carried out on the social media.


Pertinently, On Tuesday Two Hizb militants including an MBA Passout turned militant Junaid Ashraf Sehrai son of Tehreek-ul-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai was killed along with his associate Tariq Ahamad Sheikh of Pulwama in a gunfight at Nawakadal locality of Srinagar,
