Sopore, July 11: An elderly woman was killed in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Saturday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 70 -year-old woman identified as Fatima Begum, resident of Lalad Sopore was critically injured after hit by a speedy vehicle in Lalad area of Sopore on Saturday.
However, she was rushed to sub-district hospital Sopore where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the road accident.
