Bandipora, July 13 : The Security forces have busted a terror module in Chandargeer and Sadhunara area in the vicinity of town Hajin and have arrested four militant associates.
A police official said, Acting on a specific input Bandipora Police,13 RR,45BN crpf have arrested a terrorist associate from Chandergeer area during a search operation.”
The police official identified the militant associates as Shafat Ahmad Dar and 01 live grenade has been recovered from his possession. In a separate incident three more associates namely Mudasir Ahmad Khawaja , Abdul Qayoom Margo and Ishfaq Ahmad dar were arrested in a joint caso by Bandipora police , 13RR and 45 BN CRPF in sadhunara area.
“02 live grenades, one AK magazine, 25 live rounds of AK- 47 and a UBGL) were recovered from the possession of the trio. It is pertinent to mention here that the said militant associates have been actively involved in providing logistic support and shelter to active militants of proscribed outfit LeT”, police official said.
FIR hasegistered in PS Hajin in this case and further investigation is going on.
