Srinagar, Aug 10 : Nine more persons died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours taking the death toll in J&K to 485, officials said.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that Jammu and Kashmir recorded nine deaths of Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours.
An official told Kashmir Despatch nine people who have succumbed to the disease including a 47-year-old man from Rainawari, a 45-year-old man from Palpora, Srinagar, a 55-year-old man from Arampora, Ganderbal, a 65-year-old woman from Budgam, a 65-year- old man from Chidibugh Tral, a 70-year-old woman from, Buchoo Tral, an 85-year-old man from Palpora Kulgam, a 78-year-old man from Safa Kadal Srinagar and a 60-year-old man from Shalimar Srinagar.
The overall toll in the union territory stands now at 485 including 449 from Kashmir division and 35 from Jammu division.
