Musical event held in Apple Town
Sopore October 4: A musical event cum award show “Jashn e hayat” held at Dakbanglow Sopore in North’s Kashmir Baramulla District on Saturday.
During the event, in which multitalented personalities from various fields were rewarded and budding artists of north Kashmir were provided the platform to showcase their hidden talent.
On the occassion many Police and Army officers including SHO Sopore Mr Azim Khan, Major Nayar, Col. Abhishek Kumar, were present on the chief guest of honours.
Other eminent personalities of Sopore town were also present in the event. The event was attended by Singing legend of Sopore Mr. Shafi Sopori Sahab who mesmerized the audience with his melodious voice and hailed all the budding artists present in the event. Ishfaq Kawa, young music sensation of valley was also present in the event to hail the newcomers.
The event was one of it’s first kind in Sopore town and was organised by a group of students whose work was also hailed by everyone present there for providing platform to the budding artists of town.
SHO Sopore Mr Azim Khan encouraged the team members for organising further such events in the town so as to keep youth away from various social evils.
Many media partners including The news now Kashmir Corspodent Shabir Khan were hosted with great enthusiasm by organizers.
Pertinent to mention here, this young group of students are continuously working for the betterment of society for organizing many such events where people especially youth are getting chance to show their hidden talent.
