Militant associate held in Pampore

Pampore, Oct 17: Forces on Saturday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in Pampore, Khrew and Kakapora area.

A police statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads that arrested associate of LeT outfit was involved in providing shelter, logistics and other support to the LeT militants as well as in transporting of arms/ ammunition of the militants.

The arrested militant associate has been identified as Haris Shareef Rather resident of Zaffron Colony Pampore.

As per police statement Incriminating material has been recovered from him which has been seized for the record purpose.

Case FIR number 84/2020 under relevant sections of Unlawful Activities Act has been registered in Police Station Pampore .Further investigation is going on statement further reads.
