Hunter killed by his own bore riffle in Pattan

BARAMULLA, Oct 31: A hunter accidentally shot himself to death by his own bore riffle while on a hunting trip at Rakh Alambal Mirgund area of Pattan tehsil in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday .

An official told Kashmir Despatch that the body of hunter identified as Aijaz Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Hussain of Cheenabal was found at Rakh Alambal with bullet mark on his body.

Aijaz was hunter by profession and had gone on a hunting trip with his friends early, locals said.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation taken up,he added.
