Baramulla, Dec 16 : An initiative by Indian Army to promote talent of Kashmir organised in Baramulla district, RR Battalion under the aegis of Dagger Division had organised auditions for Kashmir Got Talent, on 24 Oct at Sherwani Hall,Baramulla.
As per army press release, A day-long auditions of ‘Jashn-e-Baramulla ‘ (Kashmir got talent) is set to sooth the nerves and promote peace in the trouble-torn Valley.
A total of 150 individuals participated in the auditions of Kashmir got talent and total of 14 contestants got selected to perform in the main event Jashn -e-Baramulla.
The judges for the Kashmir got talent were Aabid Ali, first person from Kashmir to perform in India got talent. Ashraf Khan, first person to introduce bands in Kashmir.Aamir Khan, youngest drummer in Kashmir.
Army in association with Athwaas Kashmir organised the auditions for the Kashmir got talent who will be performing in the main event Jashn-e-Baramulla.
Winner of the Kashmir got talent will get a chance to work in a project with Athwaas Kashmir and top three winners will be awarded with cash prizes.
The enthusiastic response of the local population, including the youth, has once again highlighted the rapport between the jawan and the Awam the army statement further reads.
