Srinagar, Dec 20 : The top army officer on Sunday while appealing youth of Jammu and Kashmir said that joining militancy is not a right option.
As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Maj Gen HS Sahi, GOC Kilo Force on Sunday on the sideliness of musical festival in Handwara said that those misguided youth should come forward for nation for the development and welfare of peace loving people.
The top army officer said “joining militancy is not an option, youth who got misguided by the propaganda of Pakistan should shun that path and join national mainstream.
GOC also praised people for voted for the development of Kashmir.
Pertinently, Handwara town on Sunday witnessed the grand finale of a music & cultural festival.
Renowned artists like Kabul Bukhari, Waqar Khan, MC Musaaib, Anil Pandit Chingari & Shagufta performed on the occasion and enthralled the crowds with their mesmerising performances.
It was the first time that an event of such a magnitude has been conducted in North Kashmir.
The presence of a large crowd which overflowed the performance ground, in Government Degree College, Handwara was witnessed for the first time in the area.
