Amid an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases, the police in North Kashmir’s Sopore has imposed lockdown-like strict restrictions in the town today.
In order to enforce strict covid lockdown, Sopore police since yesterday evening are on roads appealing people to stay Indoors and to cooperate admin.
According to Kashmir Despatch, Sleuths of police forces were seen on all inner and link roads while appealing people to remain indoors for the safety of mankind.
Markets are shut and no public transport is playing on the roads since morning.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that the situation needs a collective understanding and responsibility. Both the public and administration needs to work out a plan to stop the spread the Coronavirus in the town. Today people should support the administration in imposing the strict covid curfew,” he added.
