District Police Kupwara today organised a farewell party on the retirement of *Sub Inspector Ab Rashid, Sub Gh Mohudin and Sgct Ab Qayoom* in District Police Lines Kupwara..SSP Kupwara Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS, DYSP DAR Dr.Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS and other officers/officials, relatives of retiree officers were present on the occassion .
The retiree officers were given mementos as a token of love.Speaking on the occassion SSP Kupwara appreciated the work and dedication of the officers towards their duties. The officers according to him were very punctual in their duties, honest and officers of highest integrity. Their retirement is a loss to the department but at the same time inspiration for new recruits to follow their foot steps in the interest of society and nation. He said that the doors of police department shall remain always open for them for any kind of assistance or help. He wished the officers good health and happiness in the times to come.
The Police officers/officials who had served with the officials also spoke on the occassion and praised the work,behaviour and conduct of the officials with their colleagues and public in general.
The retiree officers also spoke on the occassion, shared their experience in the department and thanked *SSP Kupwara* and other officers/officials for organising the *farewell party* in their honour and promised that even after retirement they will continue to work for needy people,society and the Nation.
