Udhampur police recovered 6.5 grms of contraband substance Heroin (Chitta) from two narcotic smugglers at Tikri, Udhampur.
Police party of PP Tikri led by Nishant Gupta SHO PS Rehambal and assisted by Inspector Jaswinder Singh IC PP Tikri laid a naka at Tikri, naka point for checking
During naka checking police party stopped one vehicle bearing registration number JK14G 5629 for checking.
During checking of above said vehicle, 6.5 grms of heroin was recovered from the possession of two accused persons namely Rajesh Kumar @Kali son of Ashok Kumar, Rajesh Verma son of Gopal Dass both of W.No.17, Omara, Udhampur who were arrested on spot and the recovered suspected chitta was also seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 124/2021 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Rehambal and further investigation is underway.
