Sopore, Nov 04 : A motorcyclist from Bandipora, who had sustained critical injuries after hit by a car in Warpora area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town on last Monday, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday at hospital.
A police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a biker met with an accident at Warpora on Monday. He was rushed to SDH Sopore wherefrom he was referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar. He was undergoing treatment at SKIMS since Monday.
However, the official said that the injured succumbed to his injuries today at the hospital.
The deceased has been Identified as Shabir Ahmed Sofi, son of Habibullah Sofi of Ayathmulla Bandipora district.
He said that after all medical legal formalities, the body of deceased was handed over his family for last rites.
