Pattan : Three cowsheds, as many as haystacks of dry paddy grass were destroyed in a fire mishap in north Kashmir’s Pattan village.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said on Sunday evening dry paddy grass at Hamray village catched fire and within minutes it spread to nearby three cowsheds resulting in huge damage to the property.
Reports added, soon after locals in the area noticing the flames immediately rushed to the spot and also called fire service team.
The fire tenders later rushed to the spot and tried their best to douse the flames but the fire spread fast due to rising temperatures.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses told Kashmir Despatch that as many as haystacks of dry paddy grass were completely destroyed in the mishap, besides damage to the three cowsheds.
Police in this regard registered a case and started further investigation.
