Kashmir has got some great talented youth who are promoting Kashmir language and culture through various platforms. One such youth Tariq Ahmad, who hails from Aehyalbagh Sopore is promoting Kashmiri language through his melodious voice and music.
Tariq Rasool, is the first boy from North Kashmir with a Masters of Philosophy in Music and has recently composed a song of Gani Miskeen Sopore in collaboration with SM productions. The song has already set a trend on social media platforms.
30 years old Tariq is not only promoting Kashmiri Language through his music but paving a way for other youth who want to excel in music.
“We don’t have such an atmosphere where we can sing freely or practice music here in Sopore. I am trying to boost our mother tongue through music and will try my level best to promote it at a higher level,” Tariq Rasool said.
He said that we don’t have any platform except social media to promote the talent of Kashmir.
“Right now we are facing problems in music at various levels but in future we will be recognised at National or International level but we have to believe in ourselves and work hard,” Tariq added.
