ACD Kupwara visits remote border areas in karnah, Stresses for timely completion of works

ACD Kupwara Mehraj ud din (JKAS) today made an extensive tour of the remote border areas of sub division karnah.

During the visit, ACD reviewed the implementation of RDD schemes and also took on spot appraisal of various works under execution in border areas of Jabdi-Bijaldara and other areas falling in Karnah Sub Division.

People of Bijaldara-Jabdi and other areas appreciated the efforts of the Rural development Department for taking up and completing various works under different schemes in due time .

During his visit ACD also held a detailed review meeting with the employees of twin blocks of Tangdar and teetwal.

He asked the employees to work with zeal , dedication and passion and to ensure timely completion of works with sticking to maintain quality standards of work.

 He   impressed upon the officials to put in concerted and coordinated efforts to achieve developmental timelines and to meet aspirations of the people living in remote border areas.

He also underscored the need to make general public aware about the guidelines and benefits of the RDD Schemes under implementation for percolating the benifits to people at large.

Later the ACD held an interactive meeting with all PRIs of Sub division Karnah and highlighted their role in development and implementation of various schemes.

He listened to their issues and grievances and ensured proper redressal of all the issues in a time bound manner .

Earlier , ACD Kupwara who also holds additional charge of District Programme officer kupwara ,
convened a meeting of concerned in office of CDPO Tangdar .

Child Development Project Officers besides other functionaries of ICDS were present on the occasion.

On the occasion, a threadbare discussion regarding various schemes of ICDS was held including the progress and implementation of various centrally and UT sponsored schemes.

DPO also reviewed the progress of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme.

He stressed on organising awareness programmes at various levels to highlight the importance of women folk in the social and economic development of mankind.
