Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders by (UGC) University Grants Commission Government of India 2022-23
It’s an opportunity offered to University Rank Holders (1st and 2nd) at the UG level and admitted to a PG course.
This scholarship is being offered by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Government of India. The students from the following streams studying at the UG level can apply for the scholarship – Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce,Languages.
The candidates who are interested in this program must be below 30 years of age and be a first and second rank* holder at the University level in undergraduate (UG) courses have taken admission in a regular non-professional postgraduate course
The benefit for the selected students that they will receive INR 3,100 per month for a period of two years only i.e. full duration of a PG course.
The documents needed for applying to this program are an Attested copy of the university’s undergraduate degree, and Certificate of matriculation, a verification certificate issued by the institute where the student has taken admitted at the PG level and also Scanned copy of the Aadhaar card/enrollment
