The skits were theme-based which showed the distinction between junk and healthy food, highlighted the modes of transportation, the Jungle, and the Farm animals, and differences between Rural and Urban modes of living along with the prayers in four different languages. Learners through their performances made the audiences smile, laugh, ponder and cry simultaneously.
A variety of group songs, role plays, and other educational performances were performed by the students. Parents and government representatives appreciated the enthralling vigor and passion of the students and the staff.
“It is so mesmerizing to see children of such a young age speak such fluent English and Arabic. I am so happy that I have admitted my child to this institute. I wish such institutes were present in our times”, said one of the parents.
“The difference is starkly visible. The students are visibly ahead of the children of their age group. All credit must go to hardworking educators and other staff”, said another parent.
“ My child is studying in the EWS category in the school, free of cost. As I saw him today, nobody could tell the difference between my son and a child from the general category. I consider myself very lucky (moist eyes) that my child got a chance to study at this institute and excel like kids from sound economic backgrounds”, said one of the parents from the EWS category.
Chief Education Officer, Baramulla said that such co-curricular events should be held in schools to motivate the learners and parents. He further talked about the student exchange programme between private and government schools.
