Dr. Sana Kochak, Manager, Learning and Development, Nature Nurture was the chief guest on this occasion. Dr. Kochak has completed her Bachelors and Masters in History from Miranda House, University of Delhi, and is the recipient of the highly prestigious award, “Lala Mohan Prize” for being the best candidate in the M.A. (History) Batch 2011-13, University of Delhi. She has completed her M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in History from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

While deliberating on the topic, Dr. Sana said that the two year pandemic has taught us a lot. The world shifted to online mode overnight and nobody had ever thought that this could possibly happen.

“This gave an insight to the educationists worldwide that we need to teach our learners and prepare them for the future which is uncertain. Many new jobs have emerged like work from home facilitators, tide water architect, cyber calamity forecaster and many more,” she said.

Dr. Kochak further laid emphasis on the importance of foundation years of a child, responsible and happy parenting.

“Being a happy parent is more important than being a perfect parent,” she added.

Dr. Kochak also encouraged the parents to use the transdisciplinary approach to education.

She informed parents about the futuristic domains that have been added in the Nature Nurture curriculum which include Financial literacy, digital citizenship, global dimension, gender equality, character building, design and technology and many more.

At the end of the session, Dr. Kochak had a question answer session where parents voiced out their queries and opinions.
The session was a success and very well taken by all the stakeholders.
