Aarifeen School of Excellence Students Bag 103 Gold Medals in International Junior Olympiad

In an extraordinary accomplishment, students from Aarifeen School of Excellence (ASE) in Baramulla have achieved an outstanding feat by clinching 102 gold medals and a topper medal in the International Junior Olympiad organized by the National Olympiad Foundation (NOF).

The remarkable performance by ASE’s young learners has brought immense pride to the school, marking a historic achievement in Jammu and Kashmir.

NOF-junior, a prominent educational technology company providing engaging learning experiences to students across 14 countries, conducts Olympiad exams to evaluate students’ strengths at different levels.

The students’ achievements underscore the effectiveness of ASE’s child-centric and activity-based curriculum of international standards.

Ms. Aafreen Farooq, the curriculum coordinator at ASE, highlighted the dynamic nature of the curriculum, fostering multiple domains and intelligences that enable students to excel in exams without specialized efforts.

Ms. Asma Sadiq, Coordinator at ASE, expressed her pride in the learners’ accomplishments and credited the decision to introduce an activity-based curriculum at the school’s inception. She emphasized that the curriculum’s dynamism and child-centric approach contribute to students’ success in competitive exams.

Parents of the students expressed their appreciation for the school’s curriculum, acknowledging its role in preparing children for international Olympiads. They extended their gratitude to the educators and school management for adopting a curriculum of international standards.

The NOF’s International Junior Olympiad saw widespread participation, reflecting its recognition and importance in the academic community. The Olympiads are set to become a regular feature in ASE’s academic calendar, fostering a culture of academic excellence.
