Sopore, Jun 05 : A police cop is garnering respect and affection on social media for saving an old woman during clashes in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
A picture of the cop who is posted at Sopore, is doing the rounds on social media, with people hailing his bravery.
While some of the people on Twitter applauded cop’s bravery act and called him a ‘real hero.’
A police cop on Wednesday saved an old woman by giving her a cover and to protect her from stones during clashes which erupted post Eid prayers at Jamia masjid area of town.
The exemplary bravery displayed by police cop in Sopore brings out that fact that there are many policemen who are compassionate, considerate and conscientious human beings. Cops who take their professional responsibilities seriously. It will also go a long way in restoring faith of the public in police.
There are several examples of policemen displaying exemplary devotion even while performing day-to-day duties. These amazing, unsung heroes, who are not necessarily senior officers or personnel, deserve recognition and appreciation for their laudable efforts.
