ADGP Armed conducts joint darbar of AP, IR battalions

Srinagar, May 11 : S.J.M Gillani-IPS ADGP Armed J&K paid a visit to Armed Police Complex Zewan, Srinagar today and conducted Darbar of officers/ officials of JKAP-9th, JKAP-12th Bn and Ladies contingents of J&K Armed Police jointly. The Darbar was conducted to ascertain the functioning affairs of the units and welfare of jawans including their living condition besides hearing their individual as well as collective grievances.

While addressing the joint darbar, the ADGP complimented the officers and Jawans for performing the Parliamentary Election duties satisfactorily. He advised them to perform their duties in future with the same spirit and maintain discipline of the force by all means.

ADGP stressed upon them to always come up to the expectations of the people sincerely and honestly as we are meant for public service. He also advised the officers and jawans to maintain physical fitness.

ADGP Armed also interacted with the officers/ officials of the units as well as Ladies Contingent during Darbar. The ADGP disclosed on the occasion that the welfare of the officers and jawans particularly their promotion issues will be given top priority at APHQ level.

ADGP Armed also conducted the inspection of entire Armed Police Complex Zewan on the occasion and directed Commandant JKAP-9th Bn. to prepare a blue print of APC Zewan Complex, so that extension of the Complex is not made in haphazard manner and there is judicious use of land.

ADGP Armed J&K was accompanied by the senior officers of APHQ, ZAPHQ, ARO and IRO Kashmir. (KNS)
