Ganderbal, August 11: The administration in Ganderbal has order fixation as well as revision of sale prices of Minor Mineral (Raw Material and processed minerals).

As per the order, which lies with the Kashmir Despatch reads, Whereas; vide Govt Order No. 1569-GAD of 2018 dated 22-10-2018, a
“Multi Departmental District Level Task Force Cell” at District Level has been
constituted for looking into the various aspects of mining issues headed by
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal”.

It added, “Whereas; the mandate of the Multi Departmental District Level Task Force
Cell among other things is to determine, evaluate the sale/price of the minor
minerals. Whereas; during past, rates were not notified so far and same were
decided by the suppliers arbitrarly”.

Also, Whereas; the increase in the rates arbitrarily has caused overall inflation
and obstacle in the developmentalconstruction works and has become
imperative upon the Multi Departmental District Level Task Force Cell to
determine the rates of Minor Mineral (raw/processed material).
Whereas; a meeting of the Multi Departmentl District Level Task Force
Cell was held on 23-07-2020 in which, ater taking the inputs in consideration
and threadbare discussion, the following rates of minor minerals (raw material
/processed material) at pit head were decided to be adopted so that
cartels/black marketing is curbed.
