Advisor Khan holds public grievances camp at Srinagar

Directs concerned for timely redressal of issues, demands

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 26: Advisor to Lt. Governor, Farooq Khan today chaired a public grievances redressal camp here today wherein he directed the officials to ensure timely redressal of grievances for the benefit of general public and all stakeholders alike.

On the occasion, several delegations, associations and individuals apprised the Advisor about the issues of public importance.

A delegation of Youth Forum Ganderbal sought resumption of work on sports stadium, employees of Cooperatives and Municipal Committee Anantnag sought release of their pending salaries, delegation of Jhelum Riverside House Rehabilitation Union discussed issues pertaining to the demolition process carried out in their area, inhabitants of Malikpora demanded laying of water pipes in the area, Welfare Committee Ganderbal sought up-gradation of Public Health Centre to augment the medicare facility in the area and a delegation of JKUPESA of Youth services and sports department sought implementation of 2nd phase of Rehber-e-Khel scheme. Likewise, other delegations and individuals also flagged their issues and demands for their immediate redressal.

While listening to grievances and demands, the Advisor directed all the concerned officials to resolve their complaints in a timely manner.
