After 7 years, Kupwara missing boy traced : Police

Kupwara, August 02 : Police on Sunday claimed to have traced out Kupwara missing boy after 7 years in Delhi.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch, Police said on 26/07 2013 Police Post Kalaroos received a written report from Mohammad Ashraf Bhat son of Khazir Mohammad Bhat of Dogerpora Kalaroos that one Ab Rashid Konsi son of Mohd Yousuf Konshi of Branard Kalaroos age about 14 years then, was missing from his house since 24/07/2013 who was working as a domestic helper in the house of said person.

On receiving this report police post Kalaroos entered a missing report under DD report no. 09 Dated. 26/072013.

By virtue of untired efforts of Kupwara Police and the family members of missing boy, Abdur Rashid Konshi son of Mohammad Yusuf Konshi was traced out In Delhi recently.

Today on 02/08/2020 after a gap of 07 years missing boy was handed over to his family members after completing all legal formalities.

Pertinently, this is second such case since month in Kashmir, earleir a Budgam man after 18 years came back home.
