Baramulla, April 22: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, after completing the shooting of his upcoming drama ‘Ground Zero’ in the northern region of Kashmir, urged people to exercise their right to vote on May 20, 2024.
In a video message posted by DC Baramulla on X, Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi urged voters, especially the newly registered voters of the 1-Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency, to exercise their right to vote on May 20, 2024.
In the video message, the actor also urged the youth to come forward and cast their vote.
The old town of Baramulla was transformed into a festive setting on Sunday after the Bollywood crew arrived to shoot the Kashmir portion for the upcoming OTT platform Amazon Prime.
The festive atmosphere suddenly turned into a joyous celebration after actor Emraan Hashmi entered the once violence-stricken area.
Eyewitnesses informed Kashmir Despatch that people of all ages came out of their homes to witness the Bollywood movie shoot firsthand.
According to sources close to the project, Emraan Hashmi will be portraying the role of a BSF officer in this film, which chronicles the journey of BSF 2nd in Command Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. The movie delves into Dubey’s two-year-long investigation, culminating in the encounter of Ghazi Baba, the chief of Jaish-e-Mohammad, and the mastermind behind the attack.
