Ahead of winter session, PM Modi to chair all-party meeting on Sunday

Srinagar, Nov 22 : An all-party meeting ahead of the parliament’ winter session—beginning from November 29, will be held on Sunday in New Delhi, reports said on Monday.

Reports said that the all-party meeting will also be attend and chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reports quoting sources said that the meeting will held at 11 am on Sunday ahead of the winter session of the parliament.

They said that on the same evening the BJP will hold its parliamentary executive meeting.

Notably, winter session of the parliament will commence on November 29 and is likely to conclude on December 23.

“The Seventh Session of Seventeenth Lok Sabha will commence on Monday, the 29th November, 2021. Subject to exigencies of Government Business, the Session is likely to conclude on Thursday, December 23, 2021,” the Lok Sabha Secretariat has said in a statement.

The Rajya Sabha also issued a similar order.

“The President has summoned the Rajya Sabha to meet on Monday, November 29, 2021, at New Delhi. Subject to exigencies of business, the Session is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, December 23, 2021,” the communication said. (KNS)
