Srinagar, May 13 : Awami Itehad Party (AIP) delegation, led by Senior AIP leader and MLA Langate, Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad, visited the border area of Karnah Tuesday morning to meet the affected families and assess the damage caused by recent cross-border shelling.
During the visit, MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed interacted with the affected residents, offering his solidarity and support in these challenging times. He assured the families that AIP would actively pursue their concerns with the administration to ensure prompt relief and rehabilitation.
Sheikh Khursheed emphasized the urgent need for permanent safety measures and effective rehabilitation plans for the affected families.
In addition to assessing the damage, Sheikh Khursheed also spoke with local authorities to expedite relief measures. He reiterated AIP’s commitment to standing with the people of Karnah and advocating for their safety and well-being.
