Ajas police continue its rescue operations in night hours

DO arranges JCB on his own laison, more than 40 stranded vehicles rescued

Bandipora, Jan 05 : Ajas Police while continuing its rescue operation to evacuate stranded commuters on Tuesday night rescued more than 40 vehicles which were stranded due to inclement weather conditions near Churtung mode in Saderkoot area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Locals told Kashmir Despatch that dozens of vehicles which had got stranded on Bandipora-Srinagar road due to slippery roads were provided assistance and the vehicles and drivers stranded were rescued safely.

Meanwhile, Division Officer (DO) Police Post Ajas, Inspector Qaisar arranged a JCB machine at his own laison to help the people.

Special teams were deployed by the Ajas police during night hours which were seen helping people till late Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, Locals have hailed the Police in general and DO Ajas in particular for lending a helping hand in the troubled times.
