Ganderbal:Al-Imaan Youth Foundation in collaboration with SMHS hospital organized a blood donation camp at Safapora in Ganderbal District
The camp marked the participation of eminent citizens, volunteers and other prominent sections of the society.
Speaking on the occasion, the Al-Imaan youth Foundation chairman stressed on the need creating awareness among masses regarding benefits of blood donation and said that blood donation not only save lives of others but also helps the donor live longer and in a healthier way.
The main objective of organizing the camp was to create awareness among the common masses about the misconceptions and fear regarding blood donation in the society.
The Chairman Al-Imaan Foundation appealed to the participants to spread the message of voluntary blood donation to every nook and corner of the district.
A large number of volunteers donated blood during the camp which was coordinated by team of doctors from SMHS Srinagar.
