SRINAGAR, Oct 26: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Dr. Syed Zahoor Geelani, father-in-law of noted journalist and Editor Kashmir Despatch Syed Basharat, who passed away after a brief spell of illness in a hospital at Delhi.
In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari termed his demise as extremely unfortunate while describing him as an epitome of humility, generosity and sincerity.
“Dr. Zahoor had also served as Block Medical Officer whose honest services and selfless contributions had earned him immense reverence. I express my deep condolences with the bereaved family especially with Syed Basharat and his family. I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance to the bereaved family bear this irreparable loss,” Bukhari said.Besides, Apni Party leadership also conveyed their profound sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
