SRINAGAR, Nov 3: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari condemns the attack on two non-local workers, including a Nepalese national, in Anantnag.

Pertinently, a worker from Bihar and another from Nepal were injured when unknown gunmen shot and injured them in the Anantnag district this evening. Both the migrant labourers work at a private school in Anantnag’s Dialgam area.

In a statement issued to the media, Bukhari said, “Saddened to hear that two non-local workers have been shot and injured in Anantnag. I wonder what the attackers want to achieve by attacking innocent migrant workers who are here to earn bread and butter for their families. I condemn this act of violence in the strongest possible terms.”

He expressed his sympathies with the families of the victims and urged authorities to provide the best possible treatment to the injured. He said, “I extend my sympathies with the families of the victims, and I urge the authorities to ensure the injured get the best possible treatment. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”
