SRINAGAR, September 1: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of former President of India and Bharat Ratna, Pranab Mukherjee, who breathed his last on yesterday.
In a statement issued here, Bukhari said that the deceased would be remembered for his great contribution in the overall development of the country. “Among his innumerable attributes, Pranab Da was known for his contribution as the finance minister. As an astute administrator he left indelible marks which will go down in the annals of history,” Bukhari observed.
He said the life history of the deceased former President is extremely inspiring and the students should go through the same in order to get encouraged to follow their dreams. The JKAP president extended condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
